Divine Power Ministry was first organized in April 1994. The vision was
first given to Pastor Seifu Kebede while he was pastor of Ethiopian
Evangelical Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas. Both Tsigiewengel and Seifu
carried out the day to day activities of the ministry to this date. They have
both preached the uncompromised Word of God to their fellow Ethiopians and Eritreans.
The ministry operates through the power of the Holy Spirit as the visionaries are strong
believers in power preaching, miracles, signs and wonders.
Divine power depicts the mighty move of the Holy Spirit among Ethiopian and Eritrean
people with powerful encounters and penetrating testimonies. The Holy Spirit has been
poured out on Ethiopians at home and among those scattered around the world while DPEM
ministers. Thousands of people have come to Christ, delivered from demonic possession and
healed of physical, mental and emotional problems of various kinds. Several ladies who were
sterile have testified that they were blessed with babies after word of revelation was
delivered to them by pastor Seifu.
As a result of mighty move of the Holy Spirit, people of all ages are being baptized with the
Holy Spirit in mass outpourings. The fire of revival brought joy and relief to a population
long plagued by operation, depression, acute and chronic illnesses. DPEM carries out power
preaching kindling the fire of the Holy Spirit in Churches around the World. The ministry has
been an instrument of God to draw Christians to revival and Churches to be caught with fire
of the Holy Spirit.
DPEM has moved with the wind of the Spirit to several countries of the world bringing the
good news accompanied with miracles. Several people of different national origin have been
delivered from evil spirit and bondages. The telephone counseling conducted by DPEM has
freed several people from depression, loneliness, fear and satanic operation. Families have
reconciled and united because of the counseling media. We have carried out teaching, and
equipping of Christian women. They have received a lot of guidance and seminars how to
organize and maintain women's fellowship in several Churches of the world.
Divine Power Ministry has been serving since it was incorporated in the state of Texas. It
was latter moved to California and now operating from the state of Colorado. It is a non
profit organization recognized by IRS as an exempt under 501(C) (3) of the Internal
Revenue Code.
In general DPEM is a Biblical oriented, Christ-centered, Holy Spirit empowered ministry.
Our strength is our belief that "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday today and forever". The
season for miracles is not over!
